I graduated from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka with a first class. I chose Mechatronics as my focus area since it is a multidisciplinary branch of engineering that focuses on both electrical and mechanical systems, and also includes a combination of robotics, electronics, programming, control, and product engineering.

I have working experiences in several industries including MAS Intimates, Colombo Dockyard and foreign training in China. I am skilled in programming, machine designing, embedded systems, computer-aided designing and simulations. ​

I have done several extra-curricular activities being an active member of the Rotaract Club of UoM including voluntary services and project chairing.
